WHAT IS CHRISTMAS, REALLY?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY

"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you, he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly hosts appeared with the angel praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."   Luke 2:8-14 (N.I.V.)

It is a well known 'fact' that Shepherd's did not stay out in the fields during the winter months at night and they were not the ones who brought all the gifts. The "Magi" or wise men who traveled from the east were the ones who presented Jesus,Joseph and Mary with the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. And these men did not come on the night Jesus was born but months after, not sure how many months but it took them that long to travel on foot to Bethlehem after they saw the star and followed it. And there were probably way more that just three of them, wise men, most likely a large caravan, carrying all the expensive gifts for our Lord.  After that, Mary and Joseph were warned by the angel to leave Bethlehem and travel to Egypt to escape the "slaughter of the innocence" when King Herod had all the baby boys killed that were 2 years old or younger.
It is also interesting to me that even after that there is no mention of a birthday celebration for Jesus or for any Jew according to the bible. However there was mention of birthday celebrations for pagans in the bible. Even in the four Gospel accounts there is no mention of any birthday celebration for Jesus or His disciples. Jews, did not celebrate birthdays.
The birthday celebration we recognize as the birth of our Lord is in fact the pagan celebration of the return of the sun, the winter solstice, when the days start to get longer. When the Roman emperor Constantine declared Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire 350 years after the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus he indoctrinated these customs into Christianity to unite all the people, Believers in Christ and all the non-believers, Pagans. Thus, we have false doctrine infused into Christianity and upheld by the church leaders of that day. Down through the ages, these pagan practices, including Easter and Halloween have been celebrated by the masses up to this very day.
Personally, I believe it's wrong to celebrate things that are not sanctified by God, and clearly Christmas is not a Christian teaching according to Jesus or He would have instructed His  followers to celebrate it... But, I too have compromised my faith to "fit in" so to speak, with the rest of world that do these practices, "commands of men as doctrine."
Not to point fingers at any one in particular but the Catholic religion is chiefly responsible for most of these false teachings we as Christians adhere to in the present time. For more accurate information on this subject Google Michael Rood, a very learned scholar who has a TV program on Christian TV called the "Rood Awakening"  a very good program that explains the Jewish customs and practices of Jesus' day and how Christianity was hijacked by the enemy early on just as Jesus said it would be  in the 24th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew.

PRAYER FOR TODAY


Father God, thank you for your mercy and grace on us and Your unconditional, unfailing love You have for us. Thank You for forgiving all our sins and for the gift of 'righteousness' we have in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Help us to understand the truth about things we maybe are unaware of and even if we know these things forgive us for trying to be "politically correct" to fit in with mainstream society. Help us to worship You in spirit and in truth according to Your Word and not the word of man. Open our eyes to the truth that we may be set free from false doctrine and teachings and wrong beliefs...Thank You for being my God and Savior and for forgiving all my sin. In the name of Yeshua, Jesus, our Lord and King, make it so.....

Father God, I pray that You bless my children and my grandchildren with all good things, especially an understanding heart and clean conscience along with excellent health and a strong relationship with You. I wish them joy, peace, love, freedom, happiness, and that they develop a keen interest in spiritual things so they get to know You. Bless them Lord, Bless them Lord, with Your mercy and grace and the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort them always. Thank You Father, for hearing my prayers and blessing them. And help me to be a blessing to them also, help me to share my wisdom and knowledge with them and all that I have because all that I have comes from You... Thank You Father God for all my blessings. Thank You for my family and friends, for the teachers that teach Your Word, for all the beauty that surrounds me on all sides, for my excellent health, for my new found freedom and the joy it brings. Thank You for being my God and my Savior, Healer, Protector, Provider, Councilor, Comforter, my everything. Father, I ask in Jesus name that You protect all my children and grandchildren from all forms of accidents, illness, sickness and disease and all attacks by the enemy and draw them close to You and keep them safe and happy in these last days... Thank You for being in my life and setting me free from all guilt and condemnation. I confess all my sins now Father and I know You are faithful and just to forgive my sin...Thank You for blessing me beyond my expectations. What awesome words these are!!! Every believer should memorize this psalm and repeat it every day! If we truly belong to the LORD we will  realize all these blessings. After all, this is what He wants for all of us who believe. He wants to be our Shepherd and provide for all our needs and wants, to guide us, to help us, to give us peace, protection, comfort, joy, happiness, and more than enough to satisfy our needs so we will have extra abundance to give to others to bring glory and honor to His name...He is so good!!!

Thank You LORD God Almighty! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit! For being my God and Savior! Thank You for mercy and grace and for making a way for me where there was no way and for helping me to understand Your Word. Help me to be a better person and to grow in knowledge and understanding of Your will and purpose for my life... Father God Yahweh, thank You Father for all my blessings.... For excellent health, for Your favor on my life and the lives of my family and friends. Thank You for joy, peace of mind and heart, supernatural provision, wisdom, the gift of song and the knowledge of Your Word and accurate understanding to share with others. CONTROL MY TONGUE? HOW?

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You in the name of Jesus for Your Word to us Your Children. I need You to please help me control my tongue and tone of voice. We both know I have a serious problem with what I say, and when. I tend to say things that are not appropriate or becoming of a true believer in You. I need You to help me with my over all self-control too.. I just can't seem to control my self when it comes to certain desires and habits. Please take these guilt feelings away from me by the power of the Holy Spirit that is in me. Take the wrong and destructive desires away from me and set me free from the guilt and condemnation associated with sin. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and make me a new person. I love You Father God, I love You Jesus, I love You Holy Spirit! Thank You for loving me and for hearing my prayer. Help me to be the kind of person You would want me to be. Thank You for all my blessings and help me to hear Your voice clearly and share wisdom and knowledge and help orphans and widows and do all that the Holy Spirit prompts me to do because I know that He is my Guide, my Comforter, my Counselor and my Helper....Thank You...In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, make it so.....      


IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE?

Is it even possible for some of us to control what we say and when we say it? I don't understand why I have such a keen interest and obsession with the Word of God, why I can't seem to get enough Biblical teaching, knowledge, and wisdom, and how I can go around and talk to people about God and the Bible and still have all these sin (strongholds) in my life. It's been years since I first believed and was saved, I don't know how many, but it's been plenty long enough that I should have been delivered from these things. I could name them off one by one but I am too ashamed to make these things public. These are the things only God and a few close friends know about that I struggle with daily...As much as I pray and ask God to deliver me from these things He doesn't seem to hear me, or He just doesn't want to help me (yet) with these things...
 Maybe I'm suppose to be like this in order to let others see that we can be blessed and loved by God despite our sinful nature. That we don't need to clean ourselves up before we come to Him and that when we submit to Him our lives are now in His hands and it's up to Him to cleanse us. Does that even make sense? I mean, when I pray to God for other things He makes it happen, freedom, prosperity, peace, joy, love, abundance...But a clear conscience seems to elude me...Knowing that I am saved by Grace does not give me a license to sin but why then do I continue in it?
 For example, God blesses me with financial blessings and I turn around and take it to the gambling hall. I know that's gotta be wrong but I can't seem to help myself. I justify it by telling myself that "I give my tithe who knows I might win and then be able to give more." Then I get with some friends and have a little too much wine and start talking about Jesus and the Bible. I can't seem to help myself not to talk about those things even when I'm drinking, not thinking that some people may get offended by that. And that's another thing I need help with. Nearly every fleshly sin you can think of I am guilty of. I confess daily, or almost daily all my sins and I know from His Word that "if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins."  And, "His mercy is new every morning." Maybe it's the enemy working on me and bringing these "guilt and condemnation" thoughts into my head.
I've said the "Salvation Prayer" many times just to make sure I'm saved, but I still continue in these addictions. But He answers when I pray for family restoration, wisdom, to stop smoking tobacco, understanding in certain areas, but not understanding why I still do what I don't want to do. I remember the Apostle Paul talking about "the thorn in his side" and he said the same thing basically, that he was doing something that he didn't want to do even though he was closer to God than most of us. God still used him even though he sinned and I remember what God told him, "My grace is sufficient for you." OK, what should we do then about our own sin? Did God love Paul more than us because He used him to write most of the New Testament? I'd like to think that the Father loves us all the same, His Word says that "He is not a respecter of persons." "He is not partial."
I just need to vent these feelings and get them out in the open and be assured that the Lord loves me hears my prayers and that I am saved despite my sinful nature. Perhaps, I am still, after all this time a work in progress and I just haven't reached the point where these addictions fall away from me like water of a ducks back...I thank the Lord Jesus for His unfailing love, mercy and grace.        




 

SIN DONE AWAY WITH?

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You Father God for Your Word. It's so comforting to know that You love us so much that You made a way for us to have life after this life and a wonderfilled life that will never end. Help me through the rest of this life to do what pleases You despite my sinful nature and selfishness. Bless me with all good things in this life so I can be a testimony to Your goodness and love to others who don't know You yet. Thank You for being my Father, my "Abba", my Provider, Comforter, Councilor, Protector, and Healer....I love You Father God and My Lord Jesus, and thank You Holy Spirit for staying so close to me in these last of the last days. To receive from You all the good things You have for me so that my life will be a testimony to Your goodness and grace. Thank You Jesus for making a way for me where there was no way. SPECIAL PRAYER FOR "SHIRLEY"   

Father God, touch Your daughter in Christ Shirley, help her to feel Your love and power, and comfort her in her time of pain and suffering and fear. Heal her now Lord, in the name of JESUS! Take away the spirit of Parkinson's disease and make her whole and happy. Touch her with the power of the HOLY SPIRIT and let her feel Your love and healing power course through her body. Restore her Father God as only You can! In the name of JESUS make it so!   

OUR HEALER

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God Yahweh, Thank You for being our Healer and giving us power over the unclean spirits that cause all the sickness and disease in our bodies. Through the blood of Jesus we are saved and healed according to Your Word. If now we have the power to heal by the power of Your Spirit make it so in the case of my Granddaughter, Your child, Your lovely creation, Deianara. If we have the authority over these illnesses, I take authority now in her case and on her behalf to call down Your power from heaven to heal her now of the spirit of diabetes that is attacking her body. In the name of Jesus! I call her healed now! And for that spirit of disease to leave her body now! In the mighty name of Jesus, Yeshua our Lord and Savior make it so! Thank You Father God for hearing and answering this prayer. I love You Lord God and I love Your Word and Your Son, despite my own sinful nature I thank You for Your mercy and grace on me and those I love. Amen

KEEP HEARING GOD'S WORD

REPETION IS THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING

We must keep on reading, keep on listening, keep on hearing the Word of God until it absorbs into our very being, our heart and soul. The message of Salvation by the blood of Christ Jesus our Lord and King. The message of the Grace of God the Father, Creator of all we see and know. His unmerited favor to us while we are still sinners and fall way short of His glory. The true Gospel message, the "Good News".
How can we understand the love He has for us, why does He still love us despite our sinful nature? The answers are in His Word. Don't believe we can get understanding by reading His Word the way we read other books or stories. We retain only a small portion of what we read  once or twice or even three times. So, just because we have read the Bible once does not mean we have the Word in us. It is the continuous, habitual, willingness to know and understand what God is trying to tell us. We must love His Word and feed on it daily by reading it, listening to it, and talking about it that will help us to understand it by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thank You Father God for Your Word to us that we might have understanding of our purpose here on this earth. Help us to know Your mind through Your Word and Your Spirit and to do Your will and fulfill our purpose here which is to know You, and to make You known to those who have not heard Your Word or the wonderful message of Salvation. SEEK GOD!

Thank You for all my blessings, thank You for Your Word and for the peace and comfort it brings. Thank You for the beauty that surrounds me and the joy that I have in you. Help me to know You better and to share with others the wonders of Your Word. Thank You for loving me despite all my sin and for washing me clean in the blood of Your Son, the Christ Jesus, Yeshua our Savior and King. In the name of Jesus I thank You Father God for Your mercy and grace on me and for forgiving all my sin through the shed blood of Jesus. Thank You for answering my prayers and blessing me with Your grace, peace, joy, freedom, abundance, prosperity, love and contentment, despite my sinful nature . I just felt inspired to prayer for you personally. Most all the prayers in Share a Prayer Today can be used by most anyone as something to 'come into agreement with' and see results and answers when we exercise and faith and 'expectation' before God. Really, to see answers to our prayers depends on our faith and belief that God really loves 'US' and expect 'Him' to give us positive results when we ask for anything according to 'Kingdom' principles. So, know that you know, that you know He is real and is the 'Rewarder' of those who diligently seek Him. Father God in heaven, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your mercy and grace. I pray for all those who read this Prayer Blog now and in the future that they may have good health, joy, freedom and peace. That the man or woman who  reads this and comes into agreement with the words of this prayer will see answers and supernatural results according to their faith and expectation. MESSAGE TO NON-BELIEVERS

Here is what God says about those who refuse to believe and deny the True God........."The fool says in his heart,"There is no God." They are corrupt, there deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one."    Psalm 14:1-3

Change your mind! It's still not too late! Get yourself a bible and read it! Get to know the God who made you and serve Him! You're gonna have to serve somebody, may as well be the God of heaven and earth. Surely you don't want to serve any "man" do you? Man cannot save you and give you everlasting life and peace. Government cannot save you and get you to heaven! Do not look to man for your eternal salvation, but to the Son of the MOST HIGH GOD! JESUS! Praise His Holy name! He made it so simple! Just say this, Jesus, I know I'm a sinner and I receive you now as my Savior and Lord. I know You died on the cross so I can be forgiven for  all my sins and gave me the gift of righteousness, I am forgiven! I know You rose from the dead on the third day and are at the right hand of God the Father. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that You are Lord! I am saved! Thank You Jesus!!!!!

LOVE FOR THE MUSLIM PEOPLE?

With all that's happening in the Muslim nations, civil war, rebellion, Muslims killing Muslims, Governments overthrown, hatred and dissention, poverty and the like, we as followers of Christ Jesus should be praying for them even though their hatred for us causes them to murder the innocent Christians and Jews who try to live side by side with them. They bomb churches and throw innocent people in jail simply for possessing a bible. They even kill themselves in the name of Allah, their god. They encourage their children to die as martyrs for the sake of Allah. Not to mention the terrorists who target our cities and civilians in this country who welcome them with open arms. Why? I believe they have been misled from the beginning. What better weapon for the devil to use than religion? Ever since Abraham, this hatred of the descendants of Isaac has engulfed the descendants of Ishmael. Ishmael, Isaac's half brother, born of a bond woman, Hagar, who is the father of the Arab nations could not receive the inheritance of the first born of Abraham because he was not the heir of the 'Promise' God gave Abraham, to be the Father of the Jewish people and have the favor and protection of Yahweh, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. So, to this day, the Muslim people feel that it is their god-given duty to kill Jews and Christians. Their Holy book, the Koran, even says so.
I pray that their eyes be opened to the error of their ways and the false god they serve. They are being misled by the devil by the millions. They live in fear and confusion with no sure hope of salvation except to die for the cause of Allah, to be martyrs of Islam. Why all the hatred?
I used to be an advocate against them, calling for them to leave our country if they could not assimilate into our way of life. I learned that their main goal was to convert the entire world to Islam and kill all those who would not convert to their way of life. But since then, even though I see the danger ahead, I feel for the Muslim people because they are being led astray and have no hope for the future. Unlike Christians and Jews, Muslims are reared on hatred and resentment of anyone who is not a Muslim, but especially Jews and Christians. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute us. What I see here is stark contrast of the ideologies that govern our ways of thinking. One based on hate and the other on love. Which do you choose, hatred and death, or, love and life?

Father God Yahweh, in the name of Jesus I pray for the Muslim people to come to an accurate knowledge of who You are, the Almighty God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Creator of heaven and earth. The God who gave His only Son, Jesus, Yeshua, as a sacrifice for the sins of the entire world, who has proven His love for His people and continues to bless us with all good things and protect us from the enemy who seeks to destroy us. Open the eyes of the unbelievers who rely on false gods for guidance and turn them to You, the only true God, who loves them, and wants them to love Him and know Him and receive salvation and eternal life. PRAISE GOD?

I just heard another good teaching on CBN about the importance of praising God. Not only "Praying" to God, but "Praising" Him. When we praise Him with thanksgiving and attention to what He does for us everyday we open the door for Him to come into our lives and answer our prayers and grant requests. So now, I am going to make it a point to lift my hands in the air and let the words of praise come out of my mouth. Although I have not had a conscious experience with the "Prayer Language" or  "Speaking in Unknown Tongues" I believe I can still utter words of praise to the God I love and worship. I can acknowledge who He is and what He does and has done in my life. I want to be closer to Him above all things because He is my source for all good things, even everything I will ever be in this life and the next.
My flesh is at war with my Spirit now, and sometimes I feel like my Spirit Man is losing. I confess my sins everyday and I know He is faithful and just to forgive my sins but I still continue to do the very things I know are wrong. Why? The only answer I can give myself is what I read in my Bible. That, "His strength is made perfect by my weakness....." The scripture that Paul talks about the "thorn in his side" And the book of Romans Chapter 7:15-20 Where he says that, "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate I do." and he goes on to say, "What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death!" (Romans 7:24)  I can only thank Him, who made a way for me where there was no way before Jesus. I can only praise Him and acknowledge Him before men as my "Everything" despite my sinful nature.

I praise You Father God! In the name of Jesus! HALLELUJAH! I praise the name of Almighty God, JEHOVAH! YAHWEH! I magnify Your name Father God! I magnify the name of Your Son and our Savior and King! The Lord JESUS! YESHUA! Thank You Lord JESUS! You are worthy of the highest praise! I magnify You HOLY SPIRIT! Please comfort me now in my time of distress. Council me. Take away all the guilt and condemnation I feel because of my sin, Lord. Wash me and make me clean and take away the desire to do the things I know are destructive to my relationship with You. I praise Your name! I praise Your Holy name Father God YAHWEH! Hear my prayers and petitions! Joy, peace, love, happiness, knowledge, freedom, health, prosperity, wisdom, and abundance. Help me Father God in the name of Jesus! Help me to overcome my sinful nature and be approved by You.... Help me to understand Your Word and apply it to my life to bring glory and honor to Your name. I'm sorry I'm a sinful person and I don't understand why I keep doing the things I know are wrong, despite my love for You. Your Word says that You will forgive my sin if I confess my sin. Father, I confess them all now in the name of Jesus, again and again. I thank You that Your mercy and grace is new every day because I need forgiveness every day. How can I not be a sinner born in this world? Clean my mind and heart and make me a new creation in the name of Jesus. I do love You Lord, and I love Your Word and Your ways. Please put my mind and heart at ease, come to me and tell me in Your own voice that I am forgiven and that I am a child of the Most High God. I AM A SINNER

AND SO ARE YOU

The best way to stop feeling guilty about our sinful nature is to just admit it, confess to God that you have a sin problem and trust Him to forgive you, and He will. Every single man, woman, and child born in this world is born into sin and the only thing we can do about it is to accept and receive the free gifts of salvation and righteousness given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let His blood cleanse us from all unrighteousness in the eyes of God the Father. That won't make us stop sinning but it will make us acceptable to God. Without the blood of Jesus there is no forgiveness for sin. Thank You Lord Jesus! When we ask Jesus to be our Savior and Lord something happens on the inside of us that cannot be done any other way and then the Holy Spirit starts to work on us from the inside out and we begin to change. What changes? The way we think changes. Then, because the way we think changes our actions and words change and we our transformed by the renewing of our minds by the Word of the Living God. We need the 'Word' to maintain in us the hope we have in the promises of God to us. So, get as much of the 'Word' in you as possible and will see yourself change. Destructive habits will go away, you begin to catch yourself when you are about to say something wrong or hurtful, you become more aware of your wrong doing and you will start doing good and find yourself experiencing the true joy of the Spirit of God. These changes do not happen over night for most of us so don't be discouraged if things don't happen right away for you but be persistent and wait for the Spirit to work in you. Keep praying no matter what and make your petitions known to God and He will answer you according to His Word. Follow His instructions, it's all in His book.

Help me Father, to be a better person, bless me with all good things and help me to bring glory and honor to your name. Bless me with wisdom and an understanding heart and help me to be a blessing to others as I am transformed continually by the power of the Holy Spirit in me. MORE ABOUT "WORDS"?

We can help someone with our words or we can tear someone down with our words. Careless words can damage a relationship and start fights. Words can edify and words can terrify. How often do we choose our words carefully? Only when we are under attack  or need something from someone? We hire attorneys to speak for us when we are in trouble because they have the words to help us.
God "spoke" the world and the universe into existence. Jesus rebuked the devil with the "word" of God. So, how much power is available to us in our "words"? A bunch! The bible is full of words of wisdom and wisdom is "the principle thing." Can the words we speak help us to get what we want from our God and Father in heaven? Yes! Can our words hinder us and make our prayers and the Word of God of no effect. Yes! It takes practice to control the words of our mouth and of our pen. I have found out that the word of God "is powerful and sharper than any two edged sword." It can change our minds and our hearts and bring us ever closer to our Savior and our God and give us joy, peace, and hope. It is the beginning of wisdom. God's Word is ALIVE! Read it every day and keep it in your heart and mind. Let the "Word" transform and renew your mind. Thank You Father God for Your Word!!!!!!

JUST WORDS?

What's a good "word"? First, God's Word is good. Then there are these up building words we have access to and can use to strengthen our minds and renew our thoughts to be more positive and purge out the bad words we hear all the time.....
Love, joy, peace, kindness, mildness, faithfulness, patience, self-control, goodness. Beauty, sweetness, wonderful, awesome, freedom, prosperity, abundance, light, truth, life, fun, laughter, pleasurable, healthy, vibrant, excellence, pretty, rejoice, gladness, hope, grace, and tolerance, to name some. I wrote these down in a note book some years ago and repeated them on paper for several pages. As I wrote them down on paper they became a part of my thought life. Good words will build you up, bad words will tear you down...Words like, impatience, hate, misery, selfishness, stupidity, lies, crying, sickness, disease, negativity, failure, lack, poverty, and all forms of vulgarity and cussing, accusing, deceit, slander, and words like these will cause us to follow these patterns of thinking. This is one way for us to renew our minds and change our thoughts to line up with God's Word. The Word of the living God is "powerful and sharper than any two edged sword."

Help me to practice saying good things to myself and others. Help me to encourage and be a positive influence on others by the words I choose to use everyday. Help me to control my tongue and speak boldly about the wonderful things found in Your Word. SALVATION FOR US?

If I sound repetitious when I keep reminding you about the grace of God it's for a good reason, repetition is how we learn. Over and over and over again we need to hear the scriptures and take them into our hearts as well as our minds so they "stick" like glue to our inner-most being and grow like the flowers of a well watered garden. "The Holy Spirit also testifies about this. First He says: "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."  Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."  "And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin."  (Hebrews 10:15-18.)  The above scripture is taken from the prophet Jeremiah 31:33-34 in the (Old Covenant) 
What a wonderful thought, God will remember our sins no more! That is His grace to us, that what Jesus did on the cross he did once and for all of us who believe on His name. His blood was shed in the place of bulls and sheep as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. Wow! Now that is "Good News." There is now no condemnation for those of us who are in Christ and put our faith in His finished work on the cross. Thank You Lord Jesus!

Thank You Father God Yahweh, my Abba Father. In the name above all others, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Thank You for making a way for us where there was no way. Thank You for blessing me with the hope of everlasting life with You despite my sinful nature now. Thank You for setting me free from guilt and condemnation and forgetting all the things I've done wrong and loving me enough to give Your one and only Son that I might be saved from eternal destruction. Help me to share this message with others and bring glory and honor to Your name by the power of the Holy Ghost. I ask that You watch over and protect my children and grand children in these last days as we see this world falling apart around us. Bring us all safely through the coming destruction and let us meet Jesus in the air on the last day. Thank You for being our Provider, our Healer, and our Protector, our Everything. HE IS GOD AND THERE IS NO OTHER?

How many God's is there in this world? Buddha, Allah, Krishna, among others. Some of us worship people, animals, trees and the stars and planets. Who created the heavens and earth and all that we see and know? The above have all been created and cannot be considered worthy of worship. But there is one who is worthy, the Creator God who is in heaven, the Maker of heaven and earth, the Great God of the bible, the "I AM" Yahweh, Jehovah God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and His only Son, Jesus, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit. The true God. The three who make up One. They made us in their image. We all have three parts that make us who we are, spirit, body, and soul. "Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish in the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."  (Genesis 1:26)  N.I.V.   Has any of these other 'Gods' claimed to be the Creator God?   Where else is  it written to claim Creation?

Father God Yahweh, Creator of all we know. In the name of Jesus I thank You for being my God and drawing me closer to You by Your Word and Spirit. Help me to share Your Word with all who will listen and bring glory and honor to Your holy name. I pray for my children to know You and worship You and love You and be saved to everlasting life. THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART?

What are the desires of your heart? Is it money, fame, and all the material things that make life fun and interesting? Or maybe deep family ties and all the love from a spouse and children? How about vibrant health and the energy to accomplish great and envious feats of strength and stamina. How about talent in music and art and literature to impress the world. So many desires and so little time, right? Well, how about a closer relationship with your Creator God who can make these things happen? Not by your own power but by the power of the unseen Holy Spirit of the living God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33) Your heavenly Father does not want you to be lacking anything in this world. He wants us to be a testimony to His power, majesty and grace. He wants to bless us with all good things so that we can be a blessing to others and demonstrate His kingdom on earth. He said that His kingdom dwells within us. And He uses us to bless others, there by drawing those people closer to Him because they can see His kingdom in us and they want what we have. Peace, love, joy, kindness, mildness, faith, goodness, self-control, and patience. By these fruits of the Spirit, all will know that we belong to Him....These things must be cultivated in order for them to grow inside us. We are the soil, God's Word is the seed and water, The Spirit is the light and power.

Lord God, Thank You for being the God You are. One who loves us unconditionally and saves us absolutely! Thank You for promising us everlasting life in heaven and giving us all we need now on earth to bring us joy and peace and freedom. Thank You for the beauty that surrounds me on all sides and all the blessings in my life. You are awesome and amazing and wonderful! I love You Abba! In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, Amen... 

TELL HIM THANKS EVERY DAY?

Tell God thanks every day for all the blessings you have already received. If you think you are not receiving any blessings from God, think again.. The air we breath, the light that shines from the sun, the people we love around us, hot running water, food to eat, books to read, music to listen to and the ears to hear it. Our very existence depends on Him...I could go on and on. If it is special blessings you want, just ask Him, and wait. Keep asking, don't give up. Ask, ask, and ask again. Be patient with God because He is patient with you.
Read His Word every day. His thoughts and mind are there. We have the mind of Christ in His words and the thoughts of the Father, our Creator God, our "Abba." This is one of God's greatest gifts to us. His Word. "For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, it judges the thoughts and attitude of the heart."  (Hebrews 4:12)  His Word can be life changing to those who receive it and take it to heart. It brings peace of mind and wisdom, comfort and joy, and sense of belonging. So, get as much of the Word in you as possible. Hear it and hear it and hear it some more. Read it and read it and read it some more. Receive the free gift of His grace which is salvation to everlasting life and a place in heaven with our Lord Jesus forever. The alternative is darkness and separation from His love for ever. How can we reject His love and provision?

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, I thank You for today and the beauty that surrounds me. In Jesus' name I thank You for loving me and drawing me ever closer to You by the power of the Holy Spirit and Your Word which never fails. Help me to be a better person, to demonstrate Your kingdom on this earth now and to bring glory and honor to Your name. Bless me with all good things so I can be a blessing to others and testify about Your goodness and love for me despite my sinful nature. Thank You for the gift of righteousness and all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Help me to grow stronger and stronger in Your Word so others can see Your Spirit working in me and draw them to You that way. Thank You Lord, for being my Protector, Healer, and Provider. THE SPIRIT OF DEPRESSION?

The enemy uses all sorts of tactics and tools to deceive us and draw us away from the truth about God's never ending love for us. One of which is the spirit of depression. He distracts us from the life that the Lord wants us to have by putting thoughts and pictures in our minds that cause fear, anxiety, and depression. Feelings of remorse about the mistakes we have made in the past can spring up and take control of our thoughts causing us to feel defeated and degraded to the point of tears and worse, causing us to spend our time in regret and have feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. We tend to forget that the Lord's plan for us is not, defeat, depression, and sadness. He desires us to be "above and not beneath", "the head and not the tail." He has plans to prosper us and give us peace and freedom and joy, and a future full of smiles and love and happiness. We can purge out those thoughts that can cause us to be depressed by replacing them with the thoughts of our God, and the Lord Jesus.

God gave us His thoughts in His Word to help us fight the enemy who attacks us in our minds and bodies with wrong thinking and disease, lack and poverty and every conceivable infirmity that will rear its ugly head in our lives to the point that it feels normal to live in depression, guilt, anxiety, defeat. So, we can fight back against that Spirit of depression using the Word as our weapon and we will defeat our enemy the same way Jesus did in the wilderness when He was tempted by the devil. He said, "It is written," and quoted scripture to the devil and defeated him there. The devil has already been beat, he is a defeated foe with only the power we give him. Fight back with the Word of God, submit to God and use His Word and that spirit of depression will lift and your joy will return.

Father God, in Jesus name, thank You for Your Word that we can use in our fight against the enemy, the devil, who would like to destroy us and keep us from knowing the truth that is in Your Word. Help us to cast down those thoughts that creep into our minds that cause depression and anxiety and hopelessness. Help us to replace that spirit of depression with the spirit of joy, peace, and love and all the fruits of Your Holy Spirit. Help us to think on good things, noble things, things of beauty, happy things and the things of Your kingdom. Help us to train our minds to resist the "accuser" so that he flees from us and takes the evil spirits of depression and anxiety with him never to return. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and King. Make it so   

   

FAITH COMES BY HEARING?

Paul wrote to the Jews at Rome and told them, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Could he have meant, hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing some more. Listening to the Word preached not just once or twice or three times but "hearing" continuously, every day, not just on the Sabbath or Sunday but hearing enough to let the "Word" saturate the inward being there by producing the kind of "faith" pleaseing to God and powerful enough to save the worst of sinners of whom Paul professed to be? I believe that Paul was speaking to all of the believers when he wrote this line and that he meant for us to keep hearing and hearing it until the Gospel of God's grace sinks  deep into our hearts and minds there by transforming us into faith-filled advocates of the Gospel message of "grace."
All I know is that the more I listen to and read the Word, my faith is strengthened. Not that I am made more righteous but that the gift of righteousness is more noticable in me and I tend to project that in my words and deeds. That's why the Bible says that the "Word of God is more powerful and sharper than a two edged sword." So, hear it and hear it and hear it some more. Keep letting the Word into your heart and mind and you will see and feel the power of God's Word transform your life into something amazing!

This psalm is commonly read at Christian funerals and now having understood the reasons why King David wrote this song to the LORD I believe it should be read at the birth of every Christian child instead of the death because this is about life and how God sheperds us and protects us and provides for us who believe. Read this psalm slowly and think about every word and how it descibes the joy of having the Lord God of creation for your sheperd and how much he loves you and wants to take care of you and provide for your every need.

SAEED ABEDINI?

BEATEN,TORTURED, IMPRISONED, FOR HIS FAITH?

Saeed Abedini is in one of Iran's worst prisons being tortured and beaten on a daily basis. His only crime? Being a Christian convert from Islam. The brutal Iranian regime routinely tortures and imprisons Christians simply for spreading the Gospel of Christ. Saeed is an American citizen who traveled to his home country, Iran, to coordinate the building of a government approved orphanage in 2012. Soon after his arrival he was arrested, tried, and found guilty of 'spreading Christian doctrine' and preaching the Gospel of Christ Jesus. He was given an 8 year prison sentence, which by all accounts is a death sentence there.
Saeed has an American wife and 2 young children who desperately miss him. Please join me in prayer for Saeed and his family as they go through this most horrific experience. Let's agree with each other in prayer for this brave Christian man and his family. Let's Pray for him now....

Father God in heaven, thank You for all our blessings in Jesus Christ our Lord. Father, we ask that you strengthen, comfort, and protect Your servant, Saeed Abedini who is serving a prison sentence in Iran simply for serving You and spreading Your Word. Send angels to minister to him and comfort him until his release. Touch his captures with Your Holy Spirit and let them know that You are the Most High God over all the earth. YOUR HEARTS DESIRE?

WHAT IS IT?

God says He will give us our hearts desire. What do you 'desire' in your heart? Most of us want the same basic things. A warm bed, good food, a nice place to live, money in the bank, and the love of family and friends. O.K. how will God give us these things? I don't know how He does it but He just causes things to happen. I found out that when I pray for joy, peace of mind, health, love, freedom, abundance, and prosperity these other 'desires' are a bi-product. Joy is had by a warm bed and good food, money in the bank, as is peace of mind. True freedom is had by having enough financial resources to do what you like, and go where you want, when you want and not be tied down to a job or bound by commitments. I don't know how many times I was frustrated to tears because I lived in lack and bound by a job that, well, basically enslaved me because my job dictated to me when I woke up in the morning, what clothes I was to wear, when I could eat, when I could use the bathroom and how much money I could have. I had to settle for less than what I really wanted. In truth, my hearts desire was not being met because I wasn't going to my "Source" who is my Father in heaven. I tried to get everything I wanted by my own power and I failed miserably.

I found out eventually that when I went to the Lord in prayer and meditation and started reading and applying His Word everything started to change in my life. Now I have a different life, full of purpose and joy and peace and abundance, not lack and insecurity, but of prosperity and happiness. I feel better now than ever, probably due to my freedom from the addiction to cigarettes and the stress and insecurity of a 'job'. Now I have a Protector, Provider, and Healer who knows no limits and is always there sticking closer to me than a brother. The people in my life who knew me before are probably amazed at the changes that have taken place in me. I tell them all the same thing, "It's a God thing." If you want to be truly joyful and happy in this life find out how you can serve God, your Father in heaven who loves you and wants a relationship with you. He wants you to have your hearts desire too, really, it's just a matter of getting to know Him because to know Him is to love Him. Do it by prayer and meditation. His Word is very powerful because it reveals His heart and His mind so we can know Him and choose whether or not we want to serve Him. You will have to serve somebody, why not the One who made you.

On the other side of the coin are those who don't really want all the good things in life but seek destruction, strife, and chaos, they hate, they murder, they take and do not give anything. They are selfish and proud and refuse to acknowledge the One who created them. Some of these same people bow down to false Gods and reject the true God and insist on following men who believe that they have the power to be "God". I really have a hard time understanding why these kind of people choose  to be this way. I guess this would be why God says that the 'enemy' blinds the eyes of the unbeliever. All hope is not lost for them though, they may still have a chance to be saved. In the letter Paul wrote to the Romans he says, "For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that He may have mercy on them all."  Romans 11:32        

GRACE, GRACE, AND MORE GRACE?

THANK YOU JESUS!

How many Christians fully understand what God's grace towards us really means? When He sent Jesus down here as a sacrifice for the sin of the world He demonstrated His love and His kingdom. When Jesus took our beating and died for our sin and shed His blood to cleanse us from all unrighteousness He did it "once" for "all" of us and the only requirement to receive His forgiveness and grace is to simply "believe."
God's perfect grace is poured out on all of us who receive Jesus as Lord and King. It means that we who believe are set apart from the unbelievers and are grafted in to the remnant of God's chosen people, Israel. Here's what Paul told the Believers and the Jews in his letter to the Romans: "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile."   Romans 1:16 
By His grace we are all saved! Not according to our good deeds or obedience to the 'law' because we all fall short when it comes to obedience. Thank God for His mercy and grace! Because with out that we'd all be "toast." Even the Pope would not make the cut because He was born into the same sinful nature as all of us. When we understand that the love of our God and Father is unconditional, it sets us free from guilt and condemnation! Glory to God! Now we can be ourselves and know that we our forgiven for all our sin past, present, and future. Now that's the real "Good News" the "Gospel" message that needs to be preached to the world because anything less would not be such good news. Like if the message was: Stop sinning or you will go to hell! Or, if you don't go to church and pay your tithe God will not let you into the His kingdom. Or, yes, you will go to heaven but first you must be obedient to all the law as written by Moses then you will be saved. Who would make in to heaven if we had to be perfect first? I believe God loves us so much that He made a way for us to be saved from ourselves and hell and that way is JESUS! If we are in Him we are a new creation and the old self died when we first believed, our spirits were born again but our sinful fleshly bodies were not and we are in a constant struggle with our flesh because of Adam. Here's some more of Paul's letter to the Romans:  "Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man the many will made righteous."  Romans 5:18-19
Wow! Now that should make a person want to get up and shout, Praise God! If you have not yet received Jesus as your Lord and Savior do it now! Just say this short prayer: Jesus, thank you for shedding Your blood and dying for me on the cross. I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that You are Lord and I want You to come into my heart and I make You my Lord and Savior. Thank You Jesus, for saving me! I am saved!..
 Now find some where to be baptized and begin your walk with the Lord. It truly is awesome to have a friend like Jesus who sticks to us closer than a brother. Who forgives us all our sins and from Him we can gain the wisdom and power from the promised Holy Spirit.

GOD'S MERCY?

 The apostle Paul wrote this letter to the congregation at Phillippi while he was in a Roman prison and Roman prisons were very nasty. The point is He was still full of the joy of the Holy Spirit even under these kind of circumstances! Read this one often and memorise it. This will help transform your mind and strengthen your faith.

SAY IT ANYWAY?

EVEN IF WE DON'T SEE RESULTS RIGHT AWAY?

Prayer is a mysterious and wonderful thing. It surpasses our understanding of phsyical law and tests our faith that there really is a God in heaven and that we do have a Creator that loves us and wants the best for us. God is a Spirit. That means we can't see Him or touch Him but we can feel His power at work in us by the Holy Spirit if we believe. That's the whole idea, to believe. Believe even in the  things unseen and have that 'child like faith' that Jesus talked about. Trust in Him, know in your heart that He is there and that He hears you when you come to Him by faith. Be persistant and come boldly to Him with your petitions and requests. Though it may seem that He is slow sometimes in answering us He only does what's in our best interests and I thank Him for that.
 Garth Brooks had a song out some years ago about how He thanked God for unanswered prayers because had God answered some of His prayers things would not have worked out for the best even though at the time it seemed right, but God knows what's best for His kids. So, that's why I pray for things like, peace of mind, exellent health, joy, love, freedom, happiness, and blessings on me so I can be a blessing to others. And I always thank Him before I actually see and feel my answers come to pass. And I expect to see these things made manifest in my life because His Word says we can have these things. So, trust Him, ask Him, believe Him and expect Him to act on your behalf. Our God is a loving, caring, generous and all powerful Creator of everything we see around us. All the gold and silver is His and He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He will give it to whom ever He pleases, so says His Word. So, keep on asking, keep on knocking and never give up! God is just waiting to do miracle for you too. Recieve it today!

Father God Yahweh, Thank You for all my blessings. You are my Provider, my Protector, and my Healer. I thank You for my healthy body and mind and for peace, joy and happiness. Thank You for being my God and Father and for saving me and drawing me closer and closer to You. You are so awesome Lord God and I love You and I love Your Word that gives us wisdom and knowledge and power over the enemy who seeks to destroy us with all sorts of maladies. THANK GOD FOR YOUR FOOD?

WHY?

I thank God before I eat my meals because it gets me closer to Him. It shows Him that we appreciate the way He provides for us and I think it makes a difference when we pray for other things. Its another way to bring glory to Him and honor Him by acknowledging that He's listening. It does'nt have to be some long drawn out prayer just something short and sweet. Even when I have a snack sometimes I'll just feel like saying something like: "Thank You Lord God for this blessing. In Jesus' name Amen."  It's a way to keep your mind Him too. I think there a scripture that says something like, "Blessed is the man whose mind is stayed on the Lord." Im not sure what book of the Bible it's in. Maybe one of you will know.
Have you watched the "The Life of Jesus" movie yet? I've seen it several times and the prayer Jesus used to bless the five loaves and two small fishes kinda stayed in my mind so that's the prayer I always say before I eat. It goes like this: "Blessed are you O Lord our God, King of the universe, who brings forth bread (food) from the earth." Thank You Father God, in Jesus' name. Amen.

WITH TEARS

I thank You Lord God Yahweh, with tears, knowing the pain I've caused You with my sinful human condition. I thank You for making a way for me where there was no way to be saved from my self and my sin. Exept for the sacrifice of Your one and only Son who You loved. He gave Himself freely for the randsome sacrifice for all humanity to be saved from damnation and destruction. I love You Father God, and I love Your Word who is our Savior from the begining. Thank You for Your grace and mercy that surpasses our understanding. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, I "pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they will prosper that love thee." Make it so. 

DIVINE FAVOR?

FOR ME?

How can I ask for God's divine favor when I am a sinner and fall way short of the glory of God? His Word says we, as sinners can still have His favor if we ask. King David wrote in the Psalms: "For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5  NKJV
When we have His favor good things happen to us. He causes us to be at certain places at certain times and we come into contact with the right people at the right times. Did you ever wonder why these things happen? It's because the favor of God leads you in that direction. When we find favor with God miracles tend to happen and joy abounds in us. The favor of God is a blessing we can ask for and recieve. Can you can tell if a person has the divine favor of God by the way they look, by the way they talk, act, or live? Yes, sometimes. But keep in mind that not one of us is perfect and even with God's favor we will struggle and fall but it can be His favor that will lift us up again and bring us to a better place and will will have greater joy and peace. Pray with me for the ' divine favor' of the Lord to come on us and lead us to a better place in this life. Even if our lives are good now, we can get even better, we can keep growing in His favor and share our joy with those less fortunate and teach them a better way to live. In His Divine favor. Seek it, ask for it, and you can have it! Let' pray for it together.

Father God Yahweh, Thank You for Your divine favor that causes good things to happen for me and brings good into my life will that help me and will show me things I need to know or do. Thank You for blessing me with the right people in my life and the right way of thinking that starts with Your Word. Help me to help others and be a blessing to others who need You by shareing Your truth and encouraging words that will cause them to seek Your favor and know what it is according to Your Word. I pray for divine creativity for ways to share the joy of Your Word and help others to know Your divine favor and have a wonder filled life. Thank You for being my Savior, my Provider, my Healer, and my Protector. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, my Lord and King. Make it so.
