Thank You Lord God, for Your Word which comforts us and teaches us the secrets of Your kingdom so that we might live abundant lives in Jesus who by the Holy Spirit comforts us and guides us and takes away our guilt and shame and gives us hope that we will have life and have it more abundantly here and now and in Your kingdom to come. Help us to understand more fully what we need to know and what Your Word means. Help us not to be confused when we consider your Grace which was sufficent for Your servent Paul as he writes to the churches in the ancient world. Help us not to be caught up in our sin to the point that Your grace no longer saves us. Thank You Jesus that You shed Your blood once for all for the forgiveness of all our sins. "The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says: "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, I will write them on their minds." Then He adds: Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more." And where these have been forgiven, their is no longer any sacrifice for sin. Hebrews 10:15-18
