SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
"Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed---they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors---they have no comforter. And I declared that the dead who had already died, are happier than the living who are still alive. But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun." Ecclesiastes 4:1-3
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Abba Father God, comfort Your people here and abroad who are undergoing severe persecution and oppression at the hands of Islamic extremists. The hateful radical Muslims who are calling for "death" to Your chosen ones and the followers of Your Son Jesus. I pray that You open the eyes of the oppressors and show them the error of their ways. Send angels to protect the innocent Father God, and shut the mouths of their accusers. They lie and call it truth. They don't know the true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They worship a false God that condones the murder of innocent men, women, and children. And now they are bringing their hatred here to this blessed land. You see everything that takes place under the sun and I know that soon, You will vindicate the righteous and subdue the wicked. Come quickly Lord Jesus! In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Messiah, I "pray for the peace of Jerusalem." make it so
