"Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it fully."
Proverbs 28:5
"Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man whose ways are perverse."
Proverbs 28:6
"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."
Proverbs 28:13
"He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty."
Proverbs 28:19
"He who robs his father or mother and says, "It's not wrong"----he is partner to him who destroys.
Proverbs 28:24
"He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe."
Proverbs 28:26
"He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses."
Proverbs 28:27
Yesterday I gave some bad advice to someone very close to me about a family matter. I spoke without thinking and now I need to make it right. Without going in to detail, what I said would have brought us down, down, down to the level of the one who was offensive. What I should have said was, "just smile and try to understand where this person was comming from when he insulted you. He is comming from a whiskey bottle that has no bottom. Imagine the hopelessness this person is feeling. The past is eating him alive and he feels like the world and everyone in it is out to do him harm. As a believer, try to reach out with the love of God, be tactful but honest, without useing hurtful words let your reasons be known. Considering the circumstances, that would have been very difficult for me, especially when you know the motivation behind the insult. Just know that the Spirit of God is always present and sees and hears everything and will help you in times like these by putting the right words in your mouth when you need them. I'm sorry for not thinking before I spoke. You were more tolerant than I would have been in dealing with that situation. May God bless you richly and lead you on a path to His Kingdom. Love Ya.
