PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for Your Word and those who teach and preach it! In the name of Jesus help me to understand it and share it with others boldly and confidently. Let my own life reflect the blessings that are for everyone who receives You and Your Word. Let my life be the proof of Your truth that sets Your people free from guilt and condemnation. Thank You for love, joy and peace, health, prosperity, abundance and freedom, security and happiness. All the blessings of Abraham.. Watch over and protect my children and grandchildren, all family and friends, from all forms of accidents, sickness and disease and attacks by the enemy. Thank You Lord God in the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and Savior!

SPEAK IT OUT LOUD!

SPEAK THE WORD YOU WANT TO BE?

God spoke 'everything' into existence and He also created us in His image. So, I reason that we have some of the same power of God in us through Jesus Christ our Savior. I have noticed that the things I talk about the most seem to happen, good or bad... When I say to myself or someone else things like, "I always seem to get a cold or flu this time of the year." I come down with a cold or flu... So now I  say to everyone reading, "I am immune to colds and flu by the stripes Jesus I am healed of all sickness never to have a cold or flu again. Make it so in the name of Jesus!" Or when I say to myself or others, "I seem to get depressed and don't feel good about myself because I have done wrong and feel guilty." Now I say things like, "I am forgiven of all my sins, God loves me no matter what and He will help me to be a better person and to bring glory and honor to His name and I thank Him for all my blessings." Or I might say, "I never have enough money." Then it seems I'm always broke before my next payday or find myself lacking something that I need or want... So I start saying, "The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want....." I have memorized the entire 23rd Psalm and I say it out loud everyday and guess what? It works! The Spirit that God is, works in us when we 'speak' His Word. If you haven't yet tried this do it and do it everyday and watch what happens.... It does take some practice so start today!

Father God, I thank You for Your Word and the Spirit that helps us to understand it... I thank you for the preachers and teachers that remind us of the power we have in our tongues by the blood of Jesus. Help me Lord to use the power You have given me to do good and share this with others who believe in You so they can see Your blessings in their own lives and experience all the good things You desire for us to have. GET THE "WORD" IN YOU!

It seems the more of the "Word" I listen to, read, and study and meditate on the better I understand who God is and the better I feel about myself as a believer. I've heard this may times, "God is a Spirit" but did not really understand what that meant. A spirit is an invisible active force that has a mind and can think and can also influence our thoughts and actions. There are also 'evil' spirits in this world that can hurt us by simply the power of suggestion, meaning a thought comes into our minds which may seem 'right' but when acted upon can cause harm in one way or the other. The Holy Spirit on the other hand is the Spirit of the living God that will guide us and direct us in our thoughts to our benefit. He, the Holy Spirit, will come and live inside us if we ask Him to and He will override and kick out all the evil spirits which seek to destroy us. We can purge the evil spirits out of our minds with the "Word" of God. They hate God and us, so they come to kill, steal, and destroy us and deceive us into thinking we are not worthy of God's love and that God, our Father has abandoned us because of our sin and sinful nature. Now this is where Jesus comes in. Before Jesus did what He did on the cross for us we were not worthy of God's salvation so in His infinite wisdom God sent His perfect Son to earth as a human to be the final sacrifice once and for all to put away all the sin's of mankind and to give of the "gift" of righteousness which means right standing with God our Father. So now, if we choose to accept this gift we are made right with God and He will remember our sin no more... He sees Jesus and His finished work on the cross when He looks at us and not our sin... Our Spirits have been born again but our flesh is still the flesh and that is why we continue to have these fleshly desires that are so hard to resist. "The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." Thank God for Jesus and God's love for all of us! We need only to say "Yes and Amen!" To Jesus and receive Him as our Lord and Savior despite our weaknesses and sinful nature and we will be righteous in God's sight. Eventually all these things that we are tempted of will pass and we will have the power to resist the evil that tries to influence us. We who receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and King are joint heirs with Him to inherit everlasting life and all the blessings of Abraham in this life.
So, lift your head up high and know that you are "the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus," submit yourself to the "Word" of God and little by little you will see your life changing for the better effortlessly. The Spirit will guide you... Make a new habit if you haven't already to read the Word, listen to the Word, and speaking the Word and your faith will grow stronger and stronger. Faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of Christ over and over and over again...

PROTECT US!

WE CAN"T RELY ON OBAMA!

Our Commander and Chief cannot be trusted to protect us from our enemies. That is obvious. He is totally out of touch with world issues, especially Islamist issues. There are way too many groups out there taking advantage of his foreign policies. Hamas, Alceada, Hezbollah, and now the most dangerous, ISIS. Obama apologizes to these guys for our past 'sins'. It doesn't matter how much we apologize to these people they are hell bent on our destruction as a people and a nation and they will not stop until we are destroyed. We must destroy these people before they destroy us! We must kill every one of them and wipe them and their ideology of the face of our planet. Make no mistake about it. It's us or them.....

I get sick every time I see him on T.V. He lies almost every time he opens his mouth except for when he is eating. He has no plan to deal with these murderous fanatics? Whose side is he on? He refuses to enforce our southern border control and now the terrorists are using that to enter our country and probably have been for some time. His press secretary is a lap dog as are the main stream media outlets who refuse to give this issue a proper amount of time. There are former military commanders who are appalled at our presidents lack of interest and action to fight this very real threat to our way of life and our children and grand children. I can't say anymore about this for fear of puking on my computer.......

THE THREAT OF (ISIS) ?

I MUST USE THIS POST!

I must bring this to the attention to everyone reading this post that the threat of the Islamist extremist group (ISIS) is real and a clear and present danger to every American and all freedom loving people everywhere in the world. These people are monsters and demon possessed with a taste for blood not seen since Adolf Hitler. They are serious about what they intend to do. Which is to take over the entire world and bring about a world wide caliphate which is a theocracy based on the Koran (Islamic holy book,) which is the word of their god, Allah. They are highly organized and richly funded. They justify beheadings, crucifixions, rape, kidnapping, slavery, murder, theft, and other atrocities too numerous to mention here in the name of this god. They are the essence of evil and I believe they are already here in our country waiting and working on a plan to destroy our country and way of life. They want total power and control over the entire world and they won't stop until they achieve their goals unless, unless someone does something to stop them. The entire free world is at risk of being overrun by these demon possessed fanatics advocating a religion from hell! The truth is the truth and political correctness be damned! These people must be destroyed! There is no negotiating with the likes of them. They must be killed as one would kill a ugly spider or a poisonous snake! They are poisonous, wicked, and vile and they want your kids and grandkids to be just like them or die! This must be a tool of the anti-Christ as they like to target Christians and murder anyone who opposes them. Make no mistake, we are at war with these monsters whether we want to be or not. It will be a matter of survival if we don't kill them now, they will surely kill us and fly their flag over the white house.

Now, we need a leader. Not a "fund raiser"! We need a president who will stand up to these monsters and form a coalition of nations and work together with them and vanquish this threat. Our Commander and Chief must act and act decisively if we are to win this war. If he does not, then he is a weak leader with no business being our president, the leader of the free world! Forget the golf course Mr. President! Protect your people from this threat, if we really are "your people". I'm starting to think maybe we are not really your people and maybe you are not on the side of the right here. The presidents policies and methods are making me wonder whose side is he on?

I know You have a wonderful plan for me I only wish You would tell me all about it now so I can look forward to seeing it happen. But then it would take all the suspense and mystery out of life and the joy that comes from experiencing Your miracles when they do happen. And they will happen I'm sure. The waiting is the hardest part. Patience is a virtue I know and it is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Help me through this trying time in my life and give me solutions to my problems. PRAYER FOR JEWS AND  CHRISTIANS PERSECUTED EVERYWHERE

Father God, I pray that You protect Your people who are undergoing severe persecution in all parts of the world. Open the eyes of the people who are doing these evil things and let then know that this is not Your will but the will of the enemy, the devil, the accuser of the brethren. The one who 'comes to kill, steal, and destroy'. Let them wake up from the evil sleep they are sleeping and know that You are God and there is no other! Destroy the evil within them and set free the captive souls that they are. Protect those who serve You Lord and show Yourself among these evil doers. Strike down the murderers and rapists and the ones who behead the little children and commit unspeakable atrocities to Your own people. Release the Pastor in Iran, Sayeed Abadini, who is now under death threats by radical Islamists for being a Christian believer. Help us to defeat our enemies and bring peace to people who love You and worship You, the true God, Yahweh, and Your Son Yeshua, Jesus the Lamb who takes away the sins of the people.... In the name of Jesus. Make it so.....   

MUST SPEAK OUT!

We, as Christian believers, must speak out against what we see going on in the Middle- East. I don't care what the left wing idiots say about Israel and the war in Gaza. These people are being  led by the hate that Islam perpetuates among its Koranic believers. It's all about the destruction of Israel and killing every man, woman, and child that has a hint of Jewish blood. Why! Why do they hate the Jews? Why do they hate them so bad they'd like to see man,women and children, beheaded and people buried alive, and rape and terror must be the fear of the day! Why is this the way it is? Why do Christians have to leave the homes they have known for centuries. Why now? It's because the forces of evil are rearing their ugly heads. Now they have the chance to do what the devil has always wanted to do; kill all who oppose him and he is using the religion of Islam to do it. 

The facts about this speak for them selves. The terror group ISIS, is now an organized, well equipped and formidable fighting machine that is guilty of unspeakable atrocities, far worse than Alcieda. They behead little kids for God's sake! They think they are a doing a service for God! Their god is no god! Their god is satan the  devil! he deserves nothing but total destruction! He rapes, he kills, he destroys! He uses the muslim people to carry out his hate. He has misled these people into thinking what they do is right. This religion is a tool of the anti-Christ to kill, steal, and destroy, first the Jews and then the Christians! THE LOVE OF OUR CHILDREN

Father God, In Jesus' name, thank You for all my blessings for they are many. I thank You for the place where I live and the beauty that surrounds me. For the freedom and peace I have in You... Thank You Father. I would like to have my children express more love toward me. I don't feel that they really love me instead I feel distance and resentment. Turn their hearts back toward me and help me to be a greater blessing to them and let me regain their respect and honor. Let them honor me with kind words and smiles of approval. A hug once in a while would be so nice.... I only want to feel their love and be closer to them in spirit. I also pray that their hearts will be turned toward You also so that they will have a better more fulfilled life. Please just help this prayer be answered Lord. Thank You in the name of Jesus make it so....

One of the greatest blessing we can have is good kids that love and respect us and honor us with kind words and cooperation. And one of the greatest blessings they can have is parents who love and support them in the things that are important to them as well.
The "Word" says that in the latter days that our children will turn against their parents. (Mark 13:12) I pray that this scripture not be fulfilled in my own kids and that we are all protected by His grace and the power of the Holy Spirit. Please agree with me in prayer for this request. It will make this prayer that much more powerful. Thank you...... And may God bless you........In Jesus' name.....

Father God, In Jesus' name I will always thank You for being my God and drawing me closer to You by the power of Your Word and Spirit. Even though I have much sin still in my life I confess it all and ask that you help me to overcome all of it... I do not understand why You haven't delivered me from these things that  I know are hurting me and keeping me from enjoying all the blessings you have for me. I feel the urge to cry and the tears are sincere. Where is my joy? The joy I had in You? Why can't it always be present in my heart now? Help me Father God. You know I love You and Your Word despite all my sin I keep on reading and listening and being taught and sharing as much as I can. I pray to You for deliverance now and always. Please bless my family with peace, security, freedom, joy and health now and in the years to come. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and God. Make it so.....

I still refer to Romans chapter 7:15-20 to try to understand why there is still so much sin in my life. The apostle Paul evidently struggled with this issue as well. He kept doing things that he did not want to do and admitted to the sin he had in his life despite being called by God to preach the Gospel message to us gentiles. About his own weaknesses Paul said he would boast all the more because the Lord told him that, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9. Read the entire 12th chapter of 2nd Corinthians and maybe it will shed light on this subject for you as well as myself. All I can say is thank God for His mercy and grace on all of us who believe!  

PRAYER FOR DAD

UPDATE

Dad is with out pain and seems to be doin quite well despite his condition. He says that he feels well(so far), he gets around real good and still does chores and goes out for what ever they need. He seems calmer than normal and more relaxed than I've seen ever. But he still seems to have his moments with poor drivers and slow people, cold food, and bad meat. But anyway, we still love him and let him know. That's all we can do.
He was baptized on Father's Day this year on his request. I had the honor over putting him under for the Lord. Now I feel better that he will be in heaven waiting for the rest of us. It was so cool that my youngest brother also went under for the Lord at the same time! What an honor for me.

My Dad is 75 years old and may have Mesothelioma, he is in the hospital up in Boardman, Ohio. He is a great blessing to our family even though he has his faults, we all do, but I am asking that all who read this post will agree with me in prayer and take authority over this foul spirit of cancer and call him healed, now, in the mighty name of Jesus.

PRAYER

Abba Father God, in the name of Jesus I pray for my Dad who is in the hospital now and I pray that You touch him with the healing power of the Lord Jesus Christ and give him more time here to continue being a blessing to our family. Lord, we take authority over this foul spirit that is destroying his body and call him healed now and that he will live and not die according to Your Word.... Give him 5 more years here Father God, we are not ready to see him return to You yet... We need him here for a while longer... Please hear our prayer and give him more time. Heal him now, restore him now by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, make it so.....

SPEAK to your situation! This is the power that God gave us... "Life and death is in the power of the tongue." Our words can be a blessing or a curse. Speak well for the blessings that God wants us to have. As a believer you have the power to call down blessings for yourself so that you may be a blessing to others.... Remember, God "spoke" everything into being. When He said, "Let there be light." Light was, and that's when His only begotten Son was born. That's why He is called the "Light" of the world. He also calls things that are not as though they were and it becomes manifest in the physical world. That's why Jesus said, Keep on "asking", knocking, and seeking.

 Don't stop feeding your faith with the Word of God and don't stop "speaking" blessings over your own life because how else can you be a blessing to others if you yourself are not blessed? Memorize at least some of the blessing scriptures, Numbers 6:22-26, Psalm 23, and "say" them everyday and you will see things change for the best in your life. This is a way for us to draw closer to God so He can draw closer to us. In this way we also honor God when we acknowledge His Word and share it with others. This is one way to show our love for Him and the Son He sent to set us free from fear, guilt, and condemnation associated with our sin nature. Have a blessed day!

HELP ME LORD!

HELP!   PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, sometimes I feel like I'm loosing my mind... Help me Father, to understand myself and why I do the things I do... Why I do the very things I don't want to do and I feel so helpless when I succumb to the temptations that grip me. I am embarrassed, and ashamed, and I feel so weak and pathetic. My joy seems to be stolen and my strength is drained. I feel liked I've failed everyone I love and that loves me, especially You, Father. I feel so guilty and condemned. I do not deserve Your love or any love. Why do I feel so useless and sad and worried? I feel like Your Spirit has left me and I'm being punished for my selfishness and insensitivity and my lack of self-control. Help me get my joy back Lord. I know I don't deserve any good thing You do for me and I am sorry for the way I am, for all my weaknesses and wrong behavior. Sometimes I feel like You have stopped loving me and I'm all alone in this world. Tell me what I need to do and help me do it because I just feel so weak and helpless. I need You Lord, to be my Protector, Healer, Provider, Counselor, and Friend. I just don't understand myself, how I can claim to believe in You and still have all these thorns and thistles in my life... I want to be free from all this guilt and shame and embarrassment. LATE LIFE LOVES

When we get passed the age of 50 or so, most of us have been either married and or divorced with children. Personally, I've had two failed marriages and I am not proud of that but in our culture we are brought up to believe that divorce is always an option if we are not happy with our spouse for any reason.... God hates a divorce and He says so in His Word and the only grounds for a divorce are adultery.
I hear about couples being married 20, 30, and 40 years and just up and get a divorce because "they just aren't happy," or, one partner did something to cause the other to loose trust, maybe lied to them or stole from them, even disagreements about children and grandchildren. Some of us who became believers later in life are even using the Word to justify divorce using the scripture that says "let us not be unevenly yoked" referring to one of the couple being a non-believer. There are many "reasons" in our society today by which we justify divorce.... That does not make it right and I believe God punishes us in certain ways when we go against His Word.

So, now if you are happily married or unhappily married considering divorce this post is for you and if you are divorced and single and in a girl-friend, boyfriend kind of a union then maybe you will relate to this post.
Generally, people, at least one out of the two who divorce find themselves lonely after a while and really not very happy. So they will pursue another partner and try to get back something they've lost. Companionship, even with an undesirable partner is still sometimes better than loneliness and lack, and separation from family members that they still love, children, grandchildren, in-laws, family friends who have know them for years. Now the punishment starts. The heart ache begins.
So, to try and fill the void, we will look for someone else to help relieve the pain. Some of us try out new partners and sometimes we are blessed to find the "one" that works the very first try. Others of us struggle, building walls around us that no one can climb and calling ourselves justified and happy without regret or concern. But, we still want the benefits of love without the commitment. We crave intimacy, closeness, conversation, and yes, sex... Now anxiety, loneliness, fear, doubt, uncertainty, and if you are a believer, guilt and condemnation.... Of course, God will forgive us our sins if we confess our sins but the problem does not go away, we still yearn for what was missing or lacking. Just someone eat dinner with or to hold at night, to tell your darkest secrets and your deepest thoughts... Now, let's say you find someone that you are attracted to and fall in love. Right away you start thinking "forever" thoughts. Now, maybe another marriage should be in order. Wow, are you sure? What about the kids? The grandkids? Friends and other relatives? Money?  Is everyone else in your life going to approve of your new found love? You may say, "it doesn't matter what they all think," well hold your horses now, when you're in your fifties or sixties and you are established in life, maybe retired, things can get real complicated. They are all kinds of issues to consider.
By this time in life most of us are set in our ways and where we live and we devote our time accordingly, be it with a career, a job, a hobby, friends and other family, or maybe grand kids. If we have been alone any length of time we are set in our ways and some of us are perfectly content to just leave everything the same, except for the desire for intimacy and closeness with someone we can relate to and just be with, without that "forever" commitment. Here's where someone's gonna get hurt.....
So, we look for, and find that someone and we give them all the love and affection we can, we go 'all the way,' if you know what I mean. For a believer, we have committed sin and knowing this, the guilt and condemnation moves in and with it, changes in behavior. If it continues, week after week, then month after month, and still no commitment... At least one of the two will require and need some kind of reassurance that this relationship will be a permanent, lasting, a secure thing... Marriage. Here's where the heartache comes for one or the other or both... One rejects the idea of marriage and leaves the other discouraged, insecure, and heart- broken. Now what? Apologies come. Because one of the partners will not give the other what they need to feel whole and happy and secure in life resentment grows and things change. Heart ache sets in and maybe it's time to call it quits and try again.......? More apologies.  But hopefully there is no hatred or hard feelings and that couple can still be friends and stay in touch even though the love they shared with each other fizzled out for what ever reason... Late life loves are not that easy to manage, and far more complicated than we can realize and maybe we should consider no love at all. No love at all?

I think that is easier said than done for most of us. We are created to love and be loved. God made us the way we are. We are His handy work and masterpiece. I thank Him everyday for the blessings he rains down on this sinful person that I am. And I pray that He will take away wrong desires and thoughts from me and let me bring glory and honor to His name. But He made me with these desires and tendencies. I have these weaknesses in my flesh that seem uncontrollable and He has yet to relieve me of these and I struggle with them everyday. I know not everyone can relate to this post and I pray that if you are facing this kind of challenge, be careful, and be prayerful, maybe in the not to distant future God will set us free or give us what we need to fill the void in our lives we so urgently desire. We are all "works in progress." He is not finished with us yet...... I trust in Him....

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, I thank You for all my blessings. For the beauty that surrounds me and all the family and friends and loved ones in my life. Help me not to hurt anyone You put in my life. You direct our paths Lord, help us to be where we need to be to do Your will and bring glory and honor to Your name. Protect us from the schemes and plans the enemy makes to destroy us and let us have victory in every area of our lives. Peace, security, health, and freedom. Give us our hearts desire if it is in line with Your Word and help us to understand You and forgive us where we fall into sin and wrong behavior. Help us to believe right things and reject the wrong thoughts that creep into our minds.... Thank You for forgiving me for all my sins and for being my Father and my God... In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our King and Lord... Make it so...                          

 

THE BLESSING

THE AARONIC BLESSING

I believe these are very powerful words. They are recorded in the book of "Numbers" found in the "Old Testament." I was listening to a Messianic Jewish Rabbi teach this prayer this morning on "Discovering The Jewish Jesus" and if I was hearing him right, it's OK to add pronouns, (us, me, you,) etc..... And the words, (is, will.) So it reads like this:
 "The LORD (is) blessing you and keeping you; the LORD is making His face shine upon you and is being gracious to you; the LORD is lifting  up His countenance upon you. And is giving you peace."  Numbers 6:22-26 (N.K.J.V.)

From what I understand, the Hebrew language is complicated and can have a wide range of meanings for certain words found in the Old Testament..... Hence, variations in translations.... Compare N.I.V., N.K.J.V. and others.... Certain translations bring a different meaning to these scriptures and this could be why many people believe the Bible is not accurate.... At any rate, I believe the Word of God is true and the Holy Spirit guides our understanding of it...

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You Father God, Yahweh, for Your Word in Jesus' name. Help us to understand Your Word. Help is to know what You are saying when we read and study it. Thank You Father for this great blessing, for the peace and joy and comfort it brings us... Help us to follow it and be strong enough to stand up for it and share it with others, to know You through Your Word and make You known to others according to Your Word... Lord God Yahweh, in Jesus' name I thank You lord for this day and all the beauty that surrounds me. Thank You for my good health report that I received recently, I should have thanked you sooner.... Thank You for forgiving me for being so neglectful and selfish.. Thank You for the gift of righteousness that You freely give all those who believe in You and put their faith in You... Father, I ask that an agreement be reached in our favor concerning a land opportunity that would increase my resources and enable me to have more freedom and freedom to give more to others and demonstrate Your Kingdom here on earth.... I put my faith in You alone for this thing to happen in our favor. Thank You for always answering my prayers and knowing what is best... Help me to be a better person and bring honor to Your name. LET THEM GO HOME?

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body."   Philippians 3:20-21  (N.I.V.)

I hear about a pregnant woman being kept alive on artificial life support for an extended period of time in hope that a recovery may take place. I can only imagine the heart ache her husband and family must be going through watching and hoping for her to open her eyes and come to life again. She has been declared "brain dead" and her chances of ever recovering are near 0. Where is she and where is her baby? Are they laying there in that hospital bed bound to a non-functioning body of flesh? Are their "spirits" in limbo, stuck where they are  desperately wanting released to be welcomed into their heavenly home. When there is no hope of recovery, it seems to me to be the most humane and compassionate thing to do would be to let them "go home," return the God who created them and take their places in heaven where there is no pain or suffering, fear and anguish, only the unspeakable joy, beauty, freedom, and love like we here on earth will never know until we take our places there in the presence of our loving heavenly Father.
 If it was me confined to a body that doesn't work, a mind that can't think, and a heart that only beats with the help of a machine I would want to go home and be with my Creator and all my relatives who have lived and died before me and wait for those who were part of my life before I got hurt or sick or what ever caused my death. Death is only a gateway to a better more meaningful existence. It's only scary to us for time until we actually go. Then it's a glorious existence in the presence of our Father God, Jesus, the Angels, and all our friends and relatives with whom will be reunited with when that time comes. When it's time it's time and we must let them go home.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, I thank You for my health and the health and well-being of all my family and friends. Protect us Lord, from all the attacks by the enemy, sickness, disease, accidents and every sort of malady that comes upon us. Comfort those who are bed-ridden and in pain and those who are experiencing the loss of loved ones and touch them with the power of Your Holy Spirit, heal them and help them to understand Your will and purpose for their lives now, and the lives we will have with You in heaven when You call us home. Help us to know love and compassion and to hear Your voice. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and Savior.. Make it so..        

FORGIVENESS?

Father God, I thank You for hearing my prayers and for Your love. If I have hurt or offended anyone by my speech and actions put it in their hearts to forgive me. Especially my family members. I pray also that everyone I love comes to know You, love You, and serve You until the return of Jesus and Your Kingdom on earth. Thank You Father. Let Your will be done. Father God, I thank You Father for all my blessings and answered prayers. I thank You especially for my children and grandchildren who I believe are my greatest blessing. Such good kids they are Lord, I pray that You bless them with the desires of their hearts. Let them have peace, joy, love, freedom, health, prosperity, happiness and wholeness. I pray that I can feel their love for me and that they honor me with kind words and smiles. That they take the time to talk with me and share their thoughts and beliefs even if they don't always agree with what I believe. Put it in their hearts to forgive me for past mistakes and the times when I was less than a good Father. Protect them from all forms of accidents, Illnesses, diseases and attacks by the enemy.  Help me to show them my love and to share Your Word with them.  Send Angels to watch over them and guide them by the power of Your Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and Savior. Make it so....

 

GOD KNOWS?

Father God, Yahweh, You are truly awesome, there is none like you, as the prophets say.... You know the end from the beginning and You know me and You still love me... Thank You Lord, for answering so many of my prayers. Thank You for loving me when I don't deserve it and blessing me with all good things despite my sinful nature. Thank You for letting me serve You and for giving me the strength to do what You guide me to do. Show me Father what else I can do to demonstrate Your Kingdom here on this earth... Thank You for being all that I need... In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, make it so...

If  I repeat certain scriptures it's only to remind us of hearing the Word more than one time, we must hear it and hear it and hear it again, then it gets into our hearts as well as our minds. Then we can receive His love and blessings to the full... 

PEACE? WHEN?

The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore."

Sadly, this is what it will take for the world to be in peace. Until then, we will hear about wars and rumors of wars, in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Africa and around the world. But look, most of the wars and violence are happening in the middle eastern countries all around God's chosen people and the land of Israel where the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob built His house, His holy temple where there now sits an Islamic mosque. Islam is the chief enemy of the Jewish people, vowing to wipe Israel of the face of the earth. According to the Word of God, this will never happen because the God who is the defender of Israel never slumbers or sleeps and He will not allow the total destruction of His chosen ones, the Jews.
His Word clearly says, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you," Gen. 12:3. There is nothing any Government, including the United States, or the United Nations can do to foster 'world peace.' It will come only by the hand of the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth.
Our nation was blessed when we supported Israel in 1948 and beyond. Until recently, our government was the best friend of the Jewish nation, we were like Israel's big brother who came to defend her from Islamic bullies like Iran, Egypt, and Syria. Now, our Government is becoming increasingly anti-Israel and our nation is weakening under our current "Obama" administration. Even though God will not allow His people to be "wiped out," it seems to me that we need to go back to our old policies that support Israel and defend her people from Islamic terrorists and the threats of nuclear annihilation leveled against her by Iran. We, as a nation, we to stand firm with Israel and be a blessing to her if we want God's blessing on us to continue. Our current leaders are not really on her side. We can tell by our foreign policies and our pressure on the Israeli government to divide Jerusalem and give half of it to the Palestinians. That can never happen because Jerusalem is Israel's capitol given them by God 3000 years ago. Every Christian individual who loves Jesus should also love the nation and people of Israel and bless them with prayer and treasure and in turn, God will bless us according to His glorious riches. God's Word says, "He will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you."  So, it's a no-brainer, bless Israel, show her your love and support and "pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you."  Psalm 122:6  (N.K.J.V.)


PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You Father God, Yahweh, for the wisdom we find in Your Word. Thank You sending Your Son to save us from our sin. I ask that You touch our government officials with the power of the Holy Spirit and show them the error of their ways and the policies that might hurt Your chosen ones. Let them be a blessing to Your people and protect them from the Islamic threat. Use us Lord, as an instrument of peace and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem now and all ways. Help me to be obedient to this Word. I thank You for being my Protector, Provider, Healer, Comforter, Counselor and all that I need. We need to thank Him for the things He has already done for us even though we haven't seen the things we ask for yet and call the things that are not as though they are. I know this may not make sense to us in our natural minds but we need to meditate on the things we want and make sure we show Him gratitude and honor Him who is our source of all good things. Joy, peace, love, freedom, abundance and so on.... God wants us to have all these things. Believe and receive! Amen!

ANOTHER SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY

"No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."  Jeremiah 31:34  (N.K.J.V.)  

JUST PRAY?

If we only knew how much power we have available to us by prayer we'd probably hurt ourselves with it. Maybe that's why very few of us ever learn how to use it. The bible says, "In faith believing...." that means when we pray we must believe that we receive even though what we want God to do for us has not yet manifested its self. This is not that easy. I believe it takes practice and you can't do it all by yourself. When two or more come into agreement on anything they ask for Jesus said God will do it...Matthew 18:19-20  Now the question is, do you really believe that? Again this is a problem with most of us for obvious reasons, the biggest reason is our personal beliefs. If we are believing wrong our faith will be weak or even non-existent. So, what we need to do is adjust how and what we choose to believe. It takes practice and it's not that easy but with the favor of God on our side and accurate information we can change our way of thinking and believing to the point that one day we will wake up in the morning to a whole new life and God will have answered our prayers in every way. We just need to follow His instruction manual, not question it, and watch it work in amazing ways. Expectation, expectation, expectation that cannot be stressed enough. Keen expectation, that takes practice too.
If what we ask God for lines up with the things He promises then we will have it, He will see to it. So, when we pray let's pray for love, joy, peace, freedom, wholeness, abundance, all the blessings of Abraham in the Old Testament. God knows exactly what it will take for us to have these things and He will see that we have it. If we believe these things with our hearts and minds and meditate, concentrate and contemplate, with faith believing then then just be still and know that He is God and He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him then we will see things happen.
 I am living proof of this power because God has blessed me with many answered prayers although I am still a work in progress and I have my own giants yet to slay let me encourage you to learn about this great Creator God and experience the power that can only come from Him and His amazing grace for us. Read the Word of God every day, listen to the Word, watch teachers and preachers who teach the Word, say the Word out loud, think about the Word, in this way we honor God. When we honor Him He will honor and favor us over those who don't and will make good things happen for us with the power of His Holy Spirit, who is awesome by the way..........I'm rambling again.
