BLESS ME? WHY?

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lord God Yahweh, thank You Lord God for blessing me with all good things under the sun. Thank You for the beauty that surrounds me on all sides. Thank You for the accurate knowledge of the truth that sets me free; free to share all good things with others and to be a blessing to those who may not even know who You are or the one You sent. Thank You for blessing me to be a blessing to many. Help me to believe what You say and understand Your Word so I can share this wonderful Word with all who desire it. Help me to be a better example of a true follower of the Word so I can bring glory and honor to Your name and demonstrate Your kingdom on this earth now and in the future. I love You Father God and I love Your Word. Thank You for loving me first and drawing me ever closer to You. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and Savior, I "pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they will prosper that love thee." Make it so.

THOUGHT

When we pray for a certain "thing" how we approach God can make all the difference in whether or not our prayers are effective and we see results. The key to getting our prayers answered is to pray for the things that we know are found in God's kingdom: beauty, truth, joy, peace, love, abundance, prosperity, resources, perfect health, 'what ever is noble and of good report,' the very things we all would desire if we want to be a part of His Kingdom on earth and in heaven. Pray for the things that we can agree on as believers and the bible says we will have it. He will do it for us because we can never get what we really want all by ourselves. He uses people to bless His people. If He would personally come down from heaven and 'zapp' us and make us complete in the site of everyone then 'faith' would no longer be  a requirement for anything. As it is today faith means everything when it comes to answered prayer. First we must believe that God is real and 'He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.' He does'nt respond to tears or anger, but to faith. We need others to agree with us in these things and then we have the power God promised us in His Word. That's why I believe I've been seeing my prayers answered so profoundly it's almost supernatual, maybe it is supernatural that God answers prayer. All I know is, it must be a God thing because really, there can be no other explaination for answered prayer.
Then thank Him even before the things we desire actually manifest in our lives. 'Believe that you have recieved' even as though you already have it and keep it foremost in our minds that He has answered us and one morning we wake up and everything we desire according to His will has come to pass.
I believe prayer is a process and there are steps to folllow, first, 'believe', 'ask', have 'faith', have 'patience', 'wait' and 'recieve' it. Be diligent and keep on asking, don't give up and when it's time, God will 'make it so' in a wonderful way!
God wants to take care of His children and to give us our hearts desire but we really need to know what is in God's heart for us. He wants us whole, happy, joyful, rested, healthy, lacking no good thing. He wants us to give because He is a giver, a giver of life and His own love through His Son, Jesus. So, that's why we ask in Jesus' name, Jesus is the 'middle man' so to speak. The 'mediator' between God and man, He is God's greatest gift to us all because through Him we can have life everlasting in heaven and maybe a little heaven on this earth while we are still here. I believe this is the most effective way to ask God for what we really want and the material things we desire will be a bi-product of the kingdom things we really want. God will supply all our needs according 'His glorious riches in Christ Jesus' and He will do it, sometimes in the most wonderful ways.
