PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, Yahweh, Why do I have to be who I am and do the things I do knowing that I do wrong? Even though I really dont want to do the things I do that I know are not right. I seem to have no control over what I do even after I ask You for self control. All I can do is to ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me and have faith that You will forgive my sins. Help me to be a better person and a light to those around me. Help me to do your will and have a place in Your kingdom. Help me to be a better example to my children and grandchildren. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, according to Your word, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
