Prayer for Controling my Tongue

Lord God in Jesus name I ask that You help me control what I talk about and what I say. I tend to want to tell stupid jokes that could be offensive to some and I tend to use bad language when Im at work and around some of my friends. Every time I talk bad I think about how that reflects on what I truely believe in my heart and how You must be disappointed in what You hear. I ask forgiveness for the things I say and help from Holy Spirit in controlling my tongue to gring glory and honor to Your name, and set an example for others to follow. Thank You for forgiveing me and being my Lord and God, In Jesus name, by the power of the Holy Ghost, Amen
