ANTICHRIST?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY

"Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as comming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not loose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son."  2 John 1:7-9


PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God Yahweh, Thank You for Your Word, that teaches us the things we need to know to have life and have it to the full, according to Your Word. Help me to understand the deep things in Your Word that are hard to grasp and understand so that I might be a blessing to someone who is struggling in understanding and shed the light that is in Your Word. Comfort us who are struggling to understand the deeper things in Your Word that we can rest easy knowing that even if we miss the deeper things we still have forgiveness and salvation that is only in Your Son, Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord. Glory and honor to you Father God Yahweh, and to Your Son, Jesus who died for our sins that we will be forgiven and have everlasting life with You in heaven. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord and Savior, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they will prosper that love thee. Make it so...
 

IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS?

"If we claim to be without sin, we decieve ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives."
1 John 1:8-10


PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father God, In the name of Jesus, I confess all my sins now Father. You know what they are....Forgive me now Lord according to Your Word and promise. I thank You Father God Yahweh for being a God of mercy and grace. For making a way for me to have life and have it to the full. Bless me Father, with all good things and watch over my children and grandchildren in these last days and be our Protector, Provider, and Healer. Thank You Lord Jesus sacrificing Yourself for me. I love You, and I love Your word. Help me to be strong in it. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, by the power of the Holy Spirit, according to Your Word I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Amein, make it so.    

THE LORD SLOW?

"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to parish, but everyone to come to repentance."
2 Peter 3:8-9


PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, Thank You Lord God for being patient with me as I learn to walk with You and trust in You. Bless me with all good things in this life and help me to understand the wisdom in Your Word. Help me to be a blessing to my friends and family and so doing demonstrate Your Kingdom to them. Help me be more self-controlled and patient with my self  as I walk with You. Father, bless my children and grandchildren with peace and joy that surpasses all understanding and a place in Your Kingdom. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they will prosper that love thee. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, my Lord and Savior, Make it so  

GRACE vs. LAW

NEW COVENANT vs. OLD COVENANT

With Moses, came the Old Testament(covenant), 613 laws and stautes God gave him, in that day, to govern Israel. The top ten are what we today call the Ten Commandments.
We all know that these laws and statutes are very difficult for 'sinful' man to adhere to. I would bet money that not one human living today, including the 'Pope' has been faithful in keeping all of these 'laws'. Although devout men and women throughout the ages have tried to please God by obedience to these, we have all fallen short and have broken at least one of them and Jesus said that if we are guilty of breaking one, we are guilty of breaking the whole law. That's why the preists were instructed to offer burnt sacrifices to the LORD God Yahweh to atone for, first, the sins of the preists and then for the sins of the people. Blood must be shed to pay for the short commings of the Israelites. A lamb, sheep, bull or a ram spotless and without blemish had to be killed and the blood sprinkled on the alter and the whole animal burnt and the smoke asended to heaven and then God would forgive there sin and the blessings of God would then be theirs. This went on contiuously. The book of Leviticus tells about all the different sacrifices God requires of the people to be forgiven.

Now, God knew that it was impossible for man to keep His law so He sent Jesus, His only Son, who was 'spotless' and without blemish, blameless and perfect in His sight to be the, "Lamb of God" who takes away the sins of the world. He was the ultimate sacrifice, no sin was found in Him because He was not born of man. His mother was a virgin, impregnated by the Holy Spirit of God so that no sinful blood was in Him. No other sacrifice would work. It had to be Jesus, the only 'perfect' man since Adam.
Now, when Jesus laid down His life as a randsome sacrifice for the forgiveness of all our sin once and for all, He sealed a 'New Covenant' or New Testament, with His own, perfect blood. His last words while He hung on the cross bleeding and dying was, "It is finished" and then He "Gave up the ghost." The famous scripture, John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned,,,,,,,," Wow, what a loving, caring, Father we have.
Now, we live in the "Dispensation of Grace" which is unmerited favor, undeserved kindness. Jesus paid for all of our sin, past, present, and future. We who believe, can recieve, forgiveness and blessings in abundance through the shed blood of this "Lamb of God". Praise God! Thank You Lord Jesus!!!!

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You Father God Yahweh, for all my blessings that come from Jesus alone and what He did on the cross 2000 yrs ago. Thank You for loving me first, enough to give up Your only Son that I might have life in abundance. Help me to serve You Father God and bring glory and honor to Your name. Continue to bless me with freedom, love, joy, peace and all the fruits of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for helping me to understand Your will and purpose for me and all believers. Thank You for being my Provider, Protector, Healer, Lord and God. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, our Savior and Lord I "pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they will prosper that love thee." Amein, make it so... 
 

THE END OF ALL THINGS?

Here's what Peter said to the Christians living in the northern part os Asia Minor:

"The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one and other without grumbling. Let each one use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms."  1 Peter 4:7-10


PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lord God Yahweh, Thank You for helping me to understand Your Word. Help me to be a doer and not only a hearer. Help me to put into practice what You say so that when others see me they see the Spirit You have given me. Let my actions testify to the wonder of Your grace, which is unmerited, undeserved kindness and favor. Thank You for all my blessings and gifts which I can share with others, and in so doing, bring glory and honor to Your name. I pray for divine creativity and favor so that I can share the wisdom and knowledge that is found only in Your Word. I 'pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they will prosper that love thee'. In the name of Jesus, Yeshua, according to Your Word. Make it so. Amein 

SOMETMING FUNNY?

"THE OLD MAN AND THE FROG"

I heard about and old widower man, 80yrs old, one day while he was out on his pond fishing, he steered his boat close to some lilly pads and in just a minute, he heard a small, shrill, voice comming from the water.  He leaned a little closer to the surface and he could see this little, baby, bull frog crouched on a lilly pad saying, "Pick me up and kiss me and I'll turn into a beautiful virgin and marry you." The old guy could'nt believe it, so he picked the little frog up and quickly tucked it into his shirt pocket and buttoned it up tight. Right away, he heard the little frog say in amazment, "What's wrong? Why did'nt you kiss me?" The old man said, "Well I'll tell you the truth, at my age, I'd rather have a 'talkin frog'!....."lol

I heard this on one of my favorite Christian programs several years ago.  

THE WORD STANDS FOREVER?

"For you have been born again, not of parishable seed, but of imparishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the lord stands forever."  1Peter 1:24-25


PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lord God Yahweh, Thank You Father for Your love, the love that saves us and protects us from everlasting destruction. Thank You for sending Your only Son to die in my place for my sin. What love You must have for us. Help me to be the kind of person that will bring glory and honor to Your name and help me to "love my neighbor as myself" and be obedient to Your Word. I know that obedience to Your Word will bring me joy, and peace and all good things in this life and the life to come. Help me to share this wonderful hope with others all over the world, with people of all religions and walks of life, that they too will know that "You are God and there is no other." And, Your Word will stand forever. Thank You Father Yahweh, in the name of Jesus, Yeshua, Lord and Christ, make it so.
