MORE ABOUT ISLAM

The universality of Islam does not recognize nationalities or other loyalties, but demands a muslim's full allegiance. For this reason muslims all over the world consider the wars in Afganistan and Iraq as "crusades" against Islam; Muslims in Pakistan protest against irreverent cartoons published in Denmark; and the pledge by one Florida pastor and his congregation to burn the koran is met with violence.

Moreover, Islam divides the world into two territories: dar al-Islam, the territory of Islam, and dar al-harb the territory of war. The dar al-Islam consists of all territories under muslim rule, inhabited by true believers and their communties, while dar al-harb includes all other states and communities not under muslim rule. These two territories will be in constant conflict until Islam conquers the whole world.

Because Islam grew out of the belief in complete world domination, every muslim is obligated to labor in his own way in achieving that goal, no matter where he lives or what sovereign claims his allegiance.

SHARI 'AH LAW FACTS?

The Koran, or the Book, is the most important source of Islamic law, being the ultimate word of the divine. Commanding true Muslims to obey the book and Muhammad and his dictates was essential to avoid destruction.
The Koran is not only a religious book but a political instruction manual for the true muslim outlining the laws and punishments for offences. Hadiths are the second primary sourse of Islamic law. The books of Bukhari and Muslim. The development of Shari'ah has relied on these secondary sources.
Separation of religion and state does not exist in Islam. "Islam" means submission to the will of Allah and mandates a comprehensive code of law, covering the total social, political, and economic life of the community, as well as rituals of worship.

All of this info is taken from the publication, "Shari'ah Law: Radical Islams Threat to The U.S. Constitution" By the "American Center for Law and Justice". More about this in my next post.

Proverbs 28:27

Yesterday I gave some bad advice to someone very close to me about a family matter. I spoke without thinking and now I need to make it right. Without going in to detail, what I said would have brought us down, down, down to the level of the one who was offensive. What I should have said was, "just smile and try to understand where this person was comming from when he insulted you. He is comming from a whiskey bottle that has no bottom. Imagine the hopelessness this person is feeling. The past is eating him alive and he feels like the world and everyone in it is out to do him harm. As a believer, try to reach out with the love of God, be tactful but honest, without useing hurtful words let your reasons be known. Considering the circumstances, that would have been very difficult for me, especially when you know the motivation behind the insult. Just know that the Spirit of God is always present and sees and hears everything and will help you in times like these by putting the right words in your mouth when you need them. I'm sorry for not thinking before I spoke. You were more tolerant than I would have been in dealing with that situation. May God bless you richly and lead you on a path to His Kingdom. Love Ya.
