Prayer For Today Self control

Lord God, Today I ask again that You help me with self control. I know self control is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit and probably the hardest one to practice, at least for me. Today let me think about what I say before I say it, and what I do before I do it and then choose to do what is good in Your sight and say what is right. I ask forgiveness for the times when I make mistakes and do and say things I know arent right. Thank You Lord for helping me and forgiving me. Thank You for Your mercy and undeserved kindness. In Jesus name, By the power of the Holy Spirit, according to Your Word, make it so, Amen.
