PRAYER FOR MOM

Prayer For Mother-in-Law Jeri,

Father God, in Jesus name we thank You for giving us Jeri to know and to love as a Mother, Grand Mother, Mother-In-Law, Sister, and friend. Thank You Lord for welcoming her into Your  heavenly presence, the home she new from the beginning with You. Help us to remember the good times we all had with her when she was here with us and the love she shared for each and every one of us. Help us to know that she is with You now and her pain is gone and she is dancing to her favorite music, singing her favorite songs, reading her favorite book and basking in Your love and the light that you promise us all. Help our loss to heal quickly and let our grief turn to joy that her race is over, her fight was fought, and she won! In Jesus name, thank You for putting her in our lives..... Amen

SCRIPTURES FOR TODAY

"The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
And even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil,
for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.    Psalm 23  (N.I.V.)

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place- The Most High, who is my refuge-
no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all you ways.
On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
"Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
"When he calls to me, I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
"With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."       Psalm 91   (NKJV.)

This lady will be sadly missed by all who knew her....

I will miss bringing her flowers on Mothers Day and watching her face light up with joy. I appreciate her including me as one of her "kids" even though we all know I didn't deserve that. I think we had a special bonding  because she knew my mother when I was born and actually held me and fed me when I was a baby, I think she even baby sat me from time to time. At any rate, I will miss her and hope to see her again when my time comes to go and be with the Lord....... Ed Freeze
