JEWISH ROOTS?
How often do you think about the Jewishness of Christianity? Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi and His given name is Yeshua the Hebrew form of Jesus. Many Jewish people are being led to Him in these last days as the day approaches when He will return on the clouds and begin His Kingdom on earth.
Almost all of the old testiment prophesies about Him have been fullfilled and the Gospel or 'good news' about Him and what He has done for mankind is being preach in all the inhabited earth for a witness to His glory, to the 'Jew first' then to the gentiles or non-jew. These Jews who have put their faith in Yeshua as Messiah are know as Messianic Jews. They are on the increase even in Israel. They did not stop being Jewish because they now believe in Jesus and Jesus did not stop being Jewish because He is the Messiah.
So, I feel the need to explore the Jewish roots of Christianity. So far I find it very revealing because I'v been exposed to ancient Jewish wisdom. I find myself wanting to celebrate the Jewish holidays instead of the Christian holidays because these are the days That God said were to be celebrated. Christmas and Easter were decreed sacred by men 325 years after Jesus. So what is more important to you? What God says? Or what men say?

Despite Your Sinful Nature....
Listen, despite our sinful nature, Jesus died for us anyway. Do not let that hold you back from drawing closer to God. In fact, we sinners have the advantage, why? Because 'Jesus came to seek and to save' people like us!! When we take a step toward Him He will take two steps toward us!
I don't care how much you smoke, drink, do drugs, or watch porn. When you get more of the 'Word' in you than those sinful things the bad will purge out of you and will gradually, just go away. Satan is a liar! He puts all these stumbling blocks under our feet in hopes that we will be drawn away from God. And it works alot of the time. We can still overcome all these things that we 'think' will send us to hell or keep us separated from God's love. JESUS WANTS YOU! Despite your sinful nature. He will change you. Effortlessly. If we only keep comming to Him in prayer and ask Him to forgive us, read His word, listen to His servants who preach and teach His Word. May God richly bless you, starting NOW!

BE JOYFUL ALWAYS?
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
There has got to be a reason why God would want us to be so contrary to our 'nature'. When we make the effort to 'do this "word" and not just hear it then the blessings and answered prayers will come. It works for me. It will for you too. Lord God, I ask for love, joy, peace, freedom, prosperity and abundance make themselves real in the lives of all those who read this prayer and say it. I ask for divine creativity, divine health and security, confidence, boldness and increase in faith. Let all these things manifest in the lives of those who believe. Thank You Lord God, in the name of Jesus, Yeshua our Messiah and Savior, Make it so.

Answered Prayers?
I found out that when I pray for someone else the same things I want for myself, (Health, peace, freedom, joy, love, abundance, prosperity), the sooner these things become real in my life. I can honestly say that God has answered my prayers for these kind of things. Look, what else is there? Don't ask God for material things! "Seek first the Kingdom and all these other things will be added to you"... There is no such thing as "lack" in the Kingdom of God. There is no such thing as hate, sickness, war, bondage, misery, and poverty in the Kingdom of God. So when we pray let's ask for the things of the Kingdom. God will bless us and then we can be a blessing to someone else. That's what it's all about brothers and sisters! Jesus said,"Pray for those who curse you and mistreat you....." in the Sermon on The Mount. (The Gospel of Luke Chapter 6.) Now why would He want us to pray for our enemies and those who don't like us? It' because when we pray for others we will receive God's blessings in our own lives. It may not make sense to us but it's true just the same.
